Our Methodology

How We Approach Each Engagement

Every engagement follows the same disciplined structure: a listening phase in which we understand the organisation's current state and the decision being faced, an analytical phase in which we examine the relevant data, and a documentation phase in which the findings are set out in writing.

We do not begin with a recommendation and work backward. The listening phase shapes the analysis; the analysis shapes the document. The client receives a written output that reflects their specific situation — not a template populated with their name.

01

Listening Phase

Structured conversations with the relevant stakeholders to understand the current situation and the decision in question.

02

Data Review

Examination of usage data, contracts, renewal dates, cost structures and relevant compliance obligations.

03

Analysis & Drafting

Structured analysis of options, costing of scenarios and drafting of the written deliverable.

04

Delivery & Discussion

Delivery of the written output and a discussion session to walk through the findings and address any questions.

Engagement 01

SaaS Suitability Conversation

SaaS Suitability Conversation

RM 740 · Fixed fee

A short engagement for organisations weighing whether to retire a long-running on-premise application in favour of a SaaS equivalent. We listen to the operational concerns, examine data sovereignty obligations, weigh the costs of subscription against capitalised software, and write a measured suitability note. We do not push toward subscription; sometimes the right answer is to keep a serviceable on-premise system in place. Suited for finance, HR and operations functions reviewing core systems.

What Is Included

  • Structured listening sessions with key stakeholders
  • On-premise vs SaaS cost model over a 3–5 year horizon
  • Data sovereignty and PDPA compliance review
  • Change management demand assessment
  • Written Suitability Note with plain recommendation

Typical Duration

Two to three weeks from the initial listening session to delivery of the written note.

Vendor Consolidation Advisory

RM 2,580 · Fixed fee

A longer engagement for organisations carrying overlapping SaaS subscriptions accumulated through years of departmental autonomy. We catalogue every active subscription, examine actual usage against contracted seats, identify quiet overlaps and review the renewal calendar. The output is a written consolidation paper with three considered scenarios — gentle, moderate and assertive — costed against the existing run-rate. Suited for finance and IT operations working together.

What Is Included

  • Full subscription catalogue across all departments
  • Seat usage analysis — contracted vs actual
  • Overlap and duplication mapping
  • Renewal calendar with negotiation windows
  • Written Consolidation Paper: three costed scenarios

Typical Duration

Four to six weeks, depending on the breadth of subscriptions in scope.

The workshop closes with a written subscription playbook the client may circulate to its operational owners. Suited for finance operations, IT procurement and departmental administrators together.

What Is Included

  • Two-day structured workshop (consecutive working days)
  • Onboarding and seat management protocols
  • Renewal negotiation principles and practice
