Service Description
Pelita Group provides professional advisory services to organisations considering or managing transitions to SaaS-based software. Our principal engagements are:
- SaaS Suitability Conversation (RM 740) — a structured assessment engagement resulting in a written suitability note.
- Vendor Consolidation Advisory (RM 2,580) — a detailed review of active subscriptions, producing a written consolidation paper with three costed scenarios.
- Subscription Lifecycle Workshop (RM 1,180) — a two-day workshop culminating in a written subscription playbook.
Services are provided primarily to organisations based in Malaysia, though we may accept engagements from organisations in other jurisdictions at our discretion. Service availability is subject to our capacity at the time of inquiry.

- Provide accurate and complete information in any inquiry or engagement form
- Refrain from submitting false, misleading, or defamatory content
- Not attempt to access any part of our systems without authorisation

Deliverables from engagements
Written outputs produced in the course of a formal engagement (suitability notes, consolidation papers, subscription playbooks) are licensed to the client for internal use within their organisation upon receipt of full payment. This licence is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and does not permit resale or redistribution to third parties.
Our methodologies
The analytical frameworks, assessment methodologies, and workshop structures employed by Pelita Group remain our intellectual property in all circumstances.
Payment Terms
Fees and currency
All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Current engagement fees are:
- SaaS Suitability Conversation — RM 740
- Vendor Consolidation Advisory — RM 2,580
- Subscription Lifecycle Workshop — RM 1,180
Payment schedule
Payment terms are specified in the engagement letter issued prior to commencement. We typically require a 50% deposit before work begins, with the balance due upon delivery of the final written output.
Refund policy
Deposits are refundable in full where an engagement is cancelled by either party before commencement. Where work has commenced, refunds are considered on a proportional basis relative to the work completed. We do not issue refunds on the grounds of dissatisfaction with advisory conclusions that are honestly and professionally reached.
Service-Specific Terms
Scope and changes
The scope of each engagement is defined in an engagement letter issued before work begins. Requests to extend scope after commencement will be considered and, if agreed, will result in a revised fee arrangement documented in writing.
Confidentiality
We treat all client information disclosed during an engagement as confidential. We do not share client-specific information with third parties except as necessary to perform the service (e.g., where specialist input is required, with prior notice to the client).
Timeline commitments
Indicative timelines are provided at the outset of each engagement. These are subject to timely provision of information and access by the client. Delays attributable to the client may extend the timeline without additional cost to Pelita Group.
Our position
Pelita Group provides considered advisory opinion, not binding legal, financial, or technical instruction. Clients retain responsibility for all implementation decisions arising from our recommendations.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Pelita Group's aggregate liability in connection with any engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid for that engagement.
We shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, consequential, or incidental losses
- Loss of anticipated savings, profits, or revenue

- Losses arising from reliance on our website content in the absence of a formal engagement

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pelita Group, its principals and associates from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of this website, breach of these Terms, or provision of false or misleading information in connection with an engagement.

Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
Before commencing formal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt informal resolution through direct communication for a period of 30 days. Either party may initiate this process by writing to the contact addresses below.
Where informal resolution does not achieve a satisfactory outcome, either party may refer the matter to mediation under the rules of the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA) before pursuing litigation.
